Cruise passengers spend on average 518 euros each in Barcelona
According to the data collected from research conducted by the Asociación Internacional de Líneas de Crucero (CLIA) in collaboration with the University of Barcelona, tourists taking a cruise to Barcelona in 2016 spent an average of 518 euros each in the Catalonian capital. This figure demonstrates a 20% increase as compared to that for 2014.

Barcelona students embark on the archeological excavation of a XIX-century pottery workshop
A group of eight students from the University of Barcelona (UB) has begun excavation in the Raval district of Barcelona. The goal of this project, called ArqueUB, is to find and study the remains of the workshop of Antoni Tarrés, the famous pottery master of the XIX century. Also, they plan to carry out excursions to promote exhibitions for the general public.
