Barcelona Christmas illumination to start on Las Ramblas on November 23 in memory of the terrorist attack victims
This year, the first Christmas lights in Barcelona will be illuminated on the Ramblas on November 23rd as an act of remembrance for the victims of the terrorist attack of August 17th. The holiday lights will be placed on commercial sites, restaurants, and residential buildings.

Ancient ship used in a school construction process
To the great outrage of antique and cultural preservation supporters, the interior spaces of the ancient ship, Ca l’Alsina, located in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, have been converted momentarily into a construction materials warehouse. In the middle of XIX century, this area was the home of the shipyard, Fabra i Coats. Today, it serves as a construction site for IES Martí Pous middle school.

The municipality of Barcelona announces the bid for construction of the Glòries tunnels
